  • Kneel on the yoga mat with hips wide apart and over your knees. Place your hands at the base of your spine.

  • Push your hips forward with the shoulders pressed towards each other.

  • Bend backward and place your hands on your ankles.

  • Hold this position for at least 5 breaths.

  • Inhale and return to the resting position.

2. Knee to Chest Pose (Apanasana) for harfall

Steps to Perform Apanasana to reduce hairfall 

  • Lie on your back on the yoga mat.

  • Lie on your back on the yoga mat.

  • With an inhale, bring both your legs up with toes pointing towards the ceiling.

  • Now use your shoulders and back of your neck to support your entire body.

  • Form a straight line with your spine and legs.

  • Hold this position for at least 30 seconds.

  • Slowly bend your knees and bring both legs down.

4. Corpse Pose (Shavasana)

Steps to Practice Shavasana

  • Lie down on your back on the yoga mat or floor. Keep both feet hip-width apart and both arms by the side of your body with palms facing upwards.

  • Relax your entire body and breathe naturally. Try to ignore the countless thoughts running through your mind. Hold this position for at least 5 minutes.

  • To release this position, bring your knees towards your chest and roll onto your side. Place both arms under your head.

  • Hold this position for a few breaths and then get back to the sitting position.

5. Downward Facing Dog (Adho Mukha Svanasana)

The Downward Facing Dog directs blood directly towards your scalp.

Steps to Practice Adho Mukho Svanasana

  • Start this yoga pose on all fours with hands hip-width apart.

  • Tuck in your toes and lift your hips with legs supporting the entire lower body weight.

  • Keep your heels flat on the yoga mat to form an upside V shape with your body.

  • Hold this position for at least 1 to 3 minutes.

  • Slowly release this position by untucking your toes and getting back on all fours.
